mica windows

All Model C's had the mica window to look at the thermowell pilot thru the service door (P/N 4835). I don't recall ever seeing any mica in the thermowell on earlier models.

Has anyone had any luck finding eisenglass/mica??

I was wrong ! There is indeed isenglas in the Thermowell window ! It may be a bit sooty and not perfectly clear but, yes, it's there!
